Happy again for now.

Fixed that for you, because a fix only lasts until the next one is needed  ;)

for those that dont know a CVO is the custom side of harley they throw lots of upgrades at the bike... motor.....bling.......then slap a mother of a price on it (custom vehicle operation)

its all about budget and choice

Chris, does your mate work for Checkers? Either Gerhard or Andrew by name if I'm correct?

if so, his parking bay is next to my brother's one. My boet hates motorcycles and fights with me endlessly for liking & riding them, but he sends me a pic of his colleague's different Harley every day (because I know he admires them secretly). I think he has around 24 of them and rides a different one every day?

There is just something really badass about the lines of the Softail Deuce. It's that flat rear fender. Back in November 1999 I was in high school an the day after my final exam in standerd 9 I had to go into surgery on my jaws. My brother bought me the December/January issue of Bike SA and on the Softail Deuce was on the cover.  :thumleft:

i took harleys electric bike for a spin not so long ago

it was freakishly fast.......just twist open the throttle and u are gone.........some thing like 0 to 100 km in 3 seconds      it was unbelievable and smooth

very expensive for a 200km range hear its about 300k plus

no noise just a slight throbbing sound

it took a bit getting used to with no gears and no clutch

also its a small motorcycle way too small for me.........

hear things like they wont be for sales here in SA more just to promote

anyway im still more the petrol head

long story short as the olman got older we thought it would be in everyones interest to add a third wheel

this was way before harley brought in the official trike to its line up

we had a guy Nico from Exotic Designs in Pretoria do a custom trike for the olman

he came with a great reputation and i will recommend him any day......he specialises in trike conversions .......back then he was recommended to me by harley jhb

so we took the olmans street glide and converted it to this magnificent beast

the olman impressed and rode this bike all around the country until he retired last year at 83

ps sold it to a chap from jhb who flew to cape town and promptly rode it back .......

this was the inspiration for the colour scheme on my dads trike its based on this 2011 street glide CVO

just loved the mix or colour

I took a demo ride on one. Ungodly quick for a Harley. 100 mile range. 30 000 quid. About R700k. Insanely expensive. Canít see to many sales at that price. Local Harley dealer got a charger outside dealership. Drive up an plug in.

Very nice Mother, like the red spot and the matching siren.  Do they work?  Are those Volksie tyres?
