Anybody that have a KTM 390 Duke

Does any of you Wilddogs own or had a KTM 390 Duke, my wife is looking at 2015,2016 models, the good and bad. They look like
quite nice little bikes. I like the new 390 Adventure.

I have a 401 Svartpilen. Same engine. I think the 401 is lighter and handles a little differently. She will love it. More than enough poke.

I got lent one when my 1190 got serviced once. I thought it was gonna be dogshit but was pleasantly surprised!!  Nippy little bugger and really fun to ride.

The huskys definitely look nicer though.

My 2015 390 Duke begs to differ. Mine went thru 2 different engine rebuilds due to overheating. The 1st models do not have wide enough waterways in the head to cool the engine down sufficiently.

2014 KTM 390 Duke. Had it for 8 months and 2 engines later, good riddance.
2012 BMW R1200GS Triple Black: Had it for 10 months. Sold for a faster bike
2015 BMW S1000XR: Had it for 2 and a half years.
2018 BMW S1000XR: Bike so nice I bought it twice! my 2nd one.

But what about the new 390 Adventure that is coming to SA this month I believe as it also has the Duke 390 engine?
Are the 2019 Duke engines still a problem with overheating etc as  with the 2015 models?
