 :imaposer:

Dis vir presies hierdie rede dat my "travel mug" en fles met my naam engrave is, sodat niemand dit ooit verwar met hulle s'n nie, en sodat daar nooit melk by myne ingegooi word nie   :lol8:

Lekker OCD daaroor    :bueller:

Dis die heel lekkerste, selfs beter as tee of biltong.

Ek kom agter hulle is so effe aangeklam.

So ek dink dalk is hulle kultuur so effe anners as hier, wel ek hoop so in elk geval.   :thumleft:.
:thumleft:

That is why the sterilised milk came along - it did not have to be refrigerated.
When my father had a bungalow at Hartebeespoort dam, the shop at Kosmos only stocked pint bottles of sterilized milk.
When I was even younger, Nestle used to make a tube of paste that was coffee + condensed milk - you just added boiling water.
Great for camping - at the time.

Since my tastes have changed, I now take along an espresso pot for that morning coffee at the camp.
I have a compact little gas cartridge stove that the pot fits on.
Nothing beats the taste of real coffee, freshly brewed.
I even take along a proper espresso cup and saucer for the full experience !

Man oh man. I normally make strong french press coffee in a contigo mug, but it doesn't come within a million miles of a freshly brewed espresso....

That's it, more vat ek die pad eastern highlands toe vir "werk", met padkos as my eerste prioriteit   :deal:

The old major routes before toll roads when a speed cop was camped, pass him an a km down the road was a side stop. We would bundle out of the car and unpack our prepacked pad kos. Shortly after said chap would pitch up with his snor and sunglasses, we always shared.  then we eventually got a skottel and it was fresh hot food and the padkos. It was an event  as a kid my 'are we there yet?' was some of the stops. Always managed to get a fokken doring the size of an elephant tusk in my foot. Awesome days.

Hoe lus maak julle my nou.
Swart moerkoffie.
