Just spoke to Rassie 800GS
He`s up for surgery at 06h00 in the morning , for pins and screws.
This is a very quick report and I he will post all the thank you`s later.
Apparently fell at very slow speed , broke both bones in anckle,rode the rest of the way to the bash , but couldnt ride into the camp,too steep.
He says there was a nursing sister there who took his boot off , took one look and off to hospital he went.
After the xrays they wanted to do emergency surgery , which he apparently refused , asked for meds and got back to the bash.
You wont believe it , With the help of another WD (Watermat) , rode his bike all the way home to Worster in the cape.
Hats off to you Watermat for being such comrad. :blob7:
Rassie says that there was a really good bunch of WD at the bash and thanks all who helped him.
And to all that guys that took himto the hospital and drove him around.

Perhaps one of the other dogs could shed some more light on the smaller details.
