Zonkel,

Absolutely stunning. That section of road depicted in the last batch of photo's is awesome and I can well see why the rate of progress would be that slow. You chaps looked a little moeg there :D

RESPECT!!
When in doubt...grab throttle!!!

Me very new to this picture posting thingie, I use a program called ACDSee to view my pics, and before hosting them I resize them maintaining the same aspect ratio and I don't loose any of the quality and they seem to load quicker, maybe I'm just doof, oops sorry for the hijack.

I have no idea why it is slow. Last night it was speedwilly and today, slow as can be.

I will wait with the rest of the fotos then. OK!

Finaly arrived at Kunene River Lodge. (S17 21 15.9 E13 52 52.6)

The Kunene River and Angola other side.

Next morning going to Ruacana. (S17 26 13.7 E14 21 49.5)

The Hippo Pools (S17 24 27.6 E14 13 11.3).

Looking down the Ruacana gorge.

At the Namibia/Angola Border.

This is a pic of the Angola border post. When they saw me taking a pic, they came rushing with guns and arms in the air. But I already took the photo so I was racing away like mad.

Arived at a place that is not on any map (S17 33 50.8 E17 54 19.2) to sleep the night. This is just off "oom (uncle) Willies" road.

Somewhere on "oom (uncle) Willies" road.

Another spaza shop with cold beers and good company.
