The 390 Adventure is officially here, and I am going to go and test drive one later this afternoon. Will report back with some photos etc. Oh and yes the price is 86K, in my view, it's very well priced for what features you get on the bike.  :deal:

I've heard that spoked wheels will be offered as options.
Don't think that's needed though, unless you plan to rocket over Baboon's Pass or Slide Your Ass or the like  ;)

Good price Edgar, especially thinking about Honda silly ass pricing of their failed CRF450L at R125k

Spoked wheels would have been preferable, but I think they took cost into account, as well as the fact that as an "entry level" bike you would not be doing gnarly stuff on the bike.

I agree, and this puts H's 450 in even less complimentary light  :-[
Don't think it will be a runaway success here in SA though, but the - eminent! - 490 just may be!  :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft:

Alfie Cox loves it apparently!

I am surprised, as he's not really a KTM guy.........

Guys, be careful for hype that is from the official importers/dealers themselves.

And a guy like the oke from ZABikers talking kak like; "the mag wheels, you're not going to break them" :eek7: :eek7:

Where you take a hit that puts a smiley in a rim, you throw away a "mag" rim, or you play with your own safety.
