True Sidetrack, they could've used parts from the EXC or Freerides, no extra design costs etc

KTM sal hulle linker knaters gee om julle as hulle eie 390 Adventure design engineers te gehad het. :biggrin:

Wat my altyd die lekkertse laat lag is as mense so veel oor iets weet en te sÍ het maar nog nooit eers die bike gery het nie en nog minder een besit het nie. :ricky:

Die manne met die meeste posts is nie noodwendig die wat alles waaroor hulle lees en  skryf self ervaar het nie en om vir te luister nie aangesien hulle die meeste tyd voor die keyboards spandeer en nie noodwendig op die bikes nie soos byvoorbeeld die manne wat al self so fiets besit,  :pot:

Danie I watched the video. The best part for me was the off the shelf air filter that worked correctly. No after-market filter required. Apparently designed in India. So quite possibly the excess of engineers in India might help KTM to solve some of their traditional problem areas.

The same way the Aussies helped the Americans build a better Ranger.

If you look at the top engine cover, it actually looks more like a lc8c than the 390 (clutch cover, water pipe angle)

Ek het tot op datum nog nie n BMW 310 van naby gesien, laat staan nog gery.

Maar as "keyboard warrior" het ek op hierdie forum vreeslik te velde getrek teen hierdie fiets, en laat ek jou gou verduidlik waarom.

Soos jy seker weet word die 310 in India gebou, en tot op datum was daar geen Indiese fiets wat as langtermyn belegging kon beskou word, oor goeie redes.

Ten spyte van vreeslike verduidelikings van BMW fanboys oor hoe BMW se "toesig" oor die 310 se bou hom "die beste D/S bike in die wereld" gaan maak, het die eerste model se sidestand op die showroom

vloer afgebreek. Swak Indies produk met n Duitse prys. :eek7:

Wag tot jy so 50 000km op jou 390 gery het voor jy sing oor hoe "goed" hy is.

Dit sal n geweldige kopskuif verg om Indiers te laat fietse bou wat die Japanese se ou sokkies kan ruik.

Indiese kontrakte blyk altyd n klousule te bevat wat Bajaj/TVS, ens die regte gee om dieselfde enjins binne Indie se landsgrense te mag bemark, en omdat Indiers n arm nasie is, kan hulle nie KTM pryse

betaal nie, dus word kortpaaie op baie areas geneem.

Waars di dae van die 250Djebels, die Honda XLR, die Yamaha TTR's.

Hulle bou die goed so groot, enigiets meer as 100mm travel en dit raak n bubbeldekker......
