Mine was also between R800 and R1,500. Bought my Kawa H1 in Spain at a hobby shop. I standardised on 1/12 but high quality. Maisto detail just not good enough. Unfortunately you start running out of models.

It could gain popularity under home isolation.
When is this "Old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

We have exactly the same Kawa H1's, yes one runs out of choice soon, I also do not go for Maisto.

But it also means I cannot go visit Gravelfox to have a look....... :patch:

I have built since childhood, around grade 3/4, planes, cars, ships, then motorcycles. I have not built anything for a good few years, so long ago that I have to get another airbrush kit. :eek7:

Welsh, this was one of the shockers when I tackled the Honda 2 weeks ago, how my sight has deteriorated, and the fine paint applications with the model refusing to be still. :patch: :imaposer:

But still hugely satisfactory and fun.

Mine is a thing that comes and goes. I am sitting with one Ducati that I canít get finished in the last 5 years. I also have thiught what I should do with this collection one day if I scale down. These things are extremely flimsy and got some damage with our move last year.

Big downside to this is the cost and effort, with almost no value to the finished models.

But it's like a bike trip, you come back with only photos and less money than before, but it does you good.

Anyone know the manufacturer of this Laverda 750 SFC model?  It's been gathering dust for at least 35 years by me. Obviously needs a bit of TLC, I think there are a couple of small parts missing but free to anyone interested in collecting it.  Walkerville, Rick 0741619611.

I would have loved to have that LaVerda. Looks like an Italeri kit.

Die-cast metal or plastic?

Plastic. Make a plan and it's yours.

Thank you very much, do you think you could Postnet it to me?

Probably around a R100, if they are still operating.

It should survive?

OK, will do that, though it's pretty flimsy. Try tomorrow, if they're open...send it to where?
