I've rented an AT-DCT in Europe a few weeks, and was pissed off when I picked it up: "That's a DCT you idjits, I booked a Manual which you confirmed!".
Took it for a what, one minute, spin on a large open area before I put my luggage on.... and found out the lack of both gear- & clutch lever was zero problem, so I took it (I was going to take something else initially!).
Anyway, it turned out to be a bike which
- can lean until your shoulder touches the tar (best leaning bike I've ridden, not kidding!), and
- the DCT is practically speaking perfect on plus off.
That was the 'first' AT, no doubt the current bigger one is as good.
