I bought my 990 from Berto over the phone at FireItUP with quite a few close up pics on WA.... first time I actually saw the bike was when I walked in to collect.... ;) Not my normal modus operandi but I have bought from Berto before and trust his judgement.... ;D

Ive bought site unseen a few times ... only once was it a dud ... all other times ... no issues I wasnt prepared to deal with considering it was a second hand vehicle

Ek sal verseker die vorige eienaar se detail by handelaar kry en met homself gesels. Het al voorrheen dit gedoen .
As die bike nie op "consignment stock is, het hy geen rede om goed weg te steek.
Vrae soos--engine warm geword, elektroniese issues, wat is al herstel, is hy by Honda gediens, ens., ens..

Ek het my huidige HP gekoop sonder om te sien. Net foto's reg rondom, onder en bo, en gesprek met eienaar--toe vlieg ek P-E toe voordat iemand anders hom kon koop en ry hom terug.

Ek gaan nou maar die pessimistiese een wees.  Ek koop niks meer ongesiends nie.  Sal ook nie n ander man gaan vra om te kyk nie, want ek dink dit is onregverdig teenoor daai persoon as jul gradering van netjies verskil. 

In my workshop staan 4 bikes, waarvan 3 half gerestoreer en een klaar.  Een gaan ek seker nie klaar maak nie en die res kan ek nooit verkoop agv die inset koste nie.  Al 4 ongesiends gekoop en mense het gelieg oor die toestand.

Twee voertuie in die laaste jaar gekoop waar iemand vir my gaan kyk het.  Altwee het my armer gemaak en verkoop nadat hulle reg gemaak is.  Die derde een bloei ek nou nog weekliks.

Eerlikheid is n skaars kommoditeit deesdae, dealer of nie.

Vlieg op met die idee om nie te koop nie en begroot vir n retoer vlug om teleurstelling te voorkom. 

Ek het geen twyfel dat jy van die DCT gaan hou nie, maar myne is enige tyd vir jou beskikbaar om te gaan ry as jy weer hier is.  :thumleft:
Op 'n ander forum was ek eenkeer gevra om na 'n voertuig naby my te gaan kyk

Die voornemende koper het sy huiswerk baie goed gedoen, wyd gelees oor die voertuig, en toe vir my 'n inspeksie lys gestuur wat ek toe gebruik het om die voertuig deur te gaan. Die voertuig het aan al die vereistes voldoen, en was in baie goeie toestand. Geen krappe of duike.

En toe koop die man hom nie
