Yamaha motor corporation, typically Japanese, would not touch the TZ tracker build.

It was up to the CEO of Champion frames, Doug Scherma, to build them, and it was his original idea anyway to use the 4 cylinder 2stroke engine as the base for a flat track miler.

Kenny was not the first to ride it either, that honour went to Gary Hocking.

How about 5 frames built, all by different frame builders apparently at Champion, yes I went to Wicki.  :thumleft:

Wow, I did not know that, but I do remember a lot about the TZ750, as it has been my favourite bike since 1975.

Saw a video clip the other day of Kenny Roberts doing an honour lap on a tz dirt tracker. They asked him, after so many years of not riding it if he’s not going to do a practice run first. He said there is no point doing it on that bike. You either going to stay on or not. Practice wont help.  :lol8:

That sound was just...  :drif:
...dis nooit te laat om n happy childhood te he nie !

Build a sidecar they said. It will be fun they said. Ja-nee !

Four cylinder, across-the-frame 750cc 2stroke. :eek7:
