Honda AT, differences between 2017 and 2018?
« on: April 02, 2020, 06:31:40 am »
My browsing on the 'net shows there were some changes between 2017 and 2018 models.  Ride by wire, more rider modes, lighter balancer shaft, redesigned airbox, more HTSC levels etc.  Did South Africa receive these changes (can't see why not)?

What is a fair market price for these models respectively?

I forgot to add, stainless steel spokes and the fork coating issue was also addressed in 2018.

Dankie Kobus, is joune 2017?  Skerm pla my min.

In between the building, I also undertook to help Amanda with a leaking fork seal on her newly acquired XCountry.

ChrisL was kind enough to strip the fork and made it easy for me to concentrate on the seal.

Stripping:

For those of you that have read about the issue with the AT forks, this is a simple explanation of my understanding what is referred to:

This gasket ring here:

Is prematurely wearing the anodizing of the fork tube inner here:

With a new fork- and dust seal fitted as well as a quick polish, its ready to be sent today to the rightful owner.

Jou inligting is baie behulpsaam, dankie. :thumleft:

Redelik of nie?

2017 model DCT
Retail prys is volgens boek R137 100

Kopers is skaars. Maak 'n aanbod.
Koper is koning!  ;)

- Larger foot pegs
- Center stand (dit is nie tubeless nie so jy wil nie sukkel as jy wiel moet regmaak nie)
- Aftermarket bash plate
- Sidestand enlarger
