Bike Stuffs to Watch
« on: April 03, 2020, 04:44:09 pm »
I've exhausted Lyndon Poskitt's channel, anything similar out there worthwhile watching that'll prevent me from repacking the garage, again?
It's the end of the road as we know it and I feel fine.

Not similar but bike related, have you watched "On any Sunday 1"?  The 2nd one is not that good.

Also, "The world's fastest Indian" with Anthony Hopkins playing the part of Burt Munro, the world land speed record holder, an eccentric of note.

Then, "Easy rider", a road travel movie that I enjoyed quite a bit, with Dennis Hopper and Henry Fonda.

A couple of travellers on Youtube are worth watching...Pedro Mota on his Transalp has got a lot better over time - probably my favourite, William Gloege's travels around the world on his Africa Twin is a great trip to follow, Ed March at C90Adventures is just a laugh a second as he wrestles his tiny 90cc Honda around the world (and rips anyone who rides a BMW or a Harley all the time), and of course Kinga who's always 'On Her Bike' - an F800GS called Chilli......

I've also just started following 'Itchy Boots'......I dont really have an opinion yet.....

Don't watch but read:

https://www.motomedia.co.za

And @jorust was giving away free copies of her ebook about her trip around Africa on her FaceBook page recently.  I have started reading it and so far it is really an amazing story.

The first 2 were great, so I'll take your word for it on the 3rd one and look it up ........................  :thumleft:

"Easy Rider" is an American classic, and where the bike nicknamed "Captain America" comes from.

Some of the most beautiful scenes in cinematography.
