Most of those mentioned were intelligent people who contributed sense to the forum. I suppose it got tiring all the time to search for sensible threads to participate in. As its going at the moment.

Yep, it's tiring trying to find a fred without having the usual suspects clogging them up.

Left of his own volition I understand, but the forum suffered a loss with the departure of Veldtbrand.

I have thought about to posting a RR on Honduras, but I dunno if anyone reads those anymore. ::)

The "old lot" was 20 times worse, you have obviously forgotten the extremely childish retorts and mudslinging between those members, and even an attempted hostile forum take-over.

Remove your rose-tinted glasses gentleman and ladies, and revel in the present. :thumleft:

So I was reading through a few old posts thisw eekend and it's sad to see how many of the "old" members that always posted here, have become either lurkers or just quietly faded away.

@Kerritz
@volroom
@Road Hog
@Draad
@Ratt
@Poffmuis (emigrated)
@BlueBull2007 (here now and then)
@Difflock
@Draadwerk
@Lord Knormoer

Plenty of others too.  Emigration and economic hard times have certainly taken their toll.  Maybe too much forum bickering and bitchiness?  I don't know but I miss some of the guys.

Is ek nie belangrik genoeg om jou lys te maak nie? I feel left out  :imaposer:
