I could be mistaken, but Laurika could have been part of a group that tried a WD forum coup, and was banned for that.

There was no forum coup

You might be referencing the Roam Africa thing

There were talk about it here behind the scenes, but it wasn't a coup
It probably wasn't welcome at the time, but it was amicable

Michnus, Adventurer and Mr Big owned that 'startup'
I was even a moderator there

And none of us has been banned
From what I recall, during a WD bash week-end, Laurika asked if there were people, not going to the bash, that would like to join a few of them on an out-ride somewhere over the week-end. This caused unhappiness, and, as they say the rest is history

I really miss her contributions here

Laurika sided with Tweets in his battle with the mods and was quite vocal about it. Both copped a lifetime ban.
Auntie Laurie just wanted friends and wanted to belong somewhere, she's actually harmless, I think. However she did rub the ruling junta up the wrong way and when you're a lone fish swimming upstream it can kinda stick out.
Just because your past did not turn out like you wanted it to does not mean your marriage will not be better than you ever imagined it could be.

What has happened to @eberhard ?

he seems to have been last active on the forum on 22nd April this year.

I miss his Airhead photos, and various other photos on the comedy thread!.

I spoke to him. Says he is good and the BSA is running nicely.

I've yet to see a post by eberhard since my return, have you talked with him recently?

Man, his BSA restoration thread was great, very much enjoyed following his thread, then it seems like I never read much after he got it running nicely.

Any of you pricks spoken with Eberhard lately?

What about:

@Hentie BM

@boer Schoeman

What a great post to stumble upon.

As i read through the names, it woke many fun memories that I have forgotten about.

Forums evolve as people do.

I am still around, still ride occasionally, but currently my kids are at the age where they want dad to camp with them and take them places.  Bike is currently not the best mode of transport for family activities.

Still read most of the posts every second day or so.

Dankie dat jy aan my gedink het @Frikadel
