Had one as well.Really nice package, a tad vibratory on long distances tho

Would a 690 engine be an easy fit in this bike?
Was the main issue not some bearing on the bottom end ? If that is done is it reliable ?

A GS 650 Rotax motor also won't work as it doesn't fit in the frame cradle. Treat it like a big dirtbike and re-build the engine every 50 000km. I also wouldn't mind one for shorter more technical adv rides, but I think an adventurised KTM 500 is now the king in that arena
