Dankie Frankmac - Ons is gelukkig om in 'n pragtige plek te bly. Die plantegroei in die klein karoo is baie divers and die verskillende skakerings selfs net van die groen veld maak dit maklik om mooi fotos te kry - veral as die lig sag is.

Thanks WB, I am still using my old trusty Sony Alfa 330 with the standard kit lens.
Looking at getting myself either the 7D or 70D. Still deciding.

Not much of a sunrise photo but more an idea of what the local crop growers in Ethiopia have to put up with. The photo doesn't do justice to the staggering numbers

These are the red-billed queleas. I stood for 15min watching swarm after swarm go past on their way to decimate some poor subsistence farmer's maize crop. Literally in their millions

What a stunning blessed end to the weekend.
After the sun set, the full moon rose, and combined with the bioluminescence on the waves due to the red tide, gave a spectacular show.














Boys will be Boys.
And girls are darn thankful for that
