Angry Riding
« on: May 10, 2020, 07:15:35 pm »
I don't lose my temper ever, my son has cabin fever and got personal this morning, I never open the taps when I'm angry either, this morning I said I was going shopping and clocked 230km/h maybe 15 times and ended up in Wellington from Blouberg. I'm calm now but a bit scared that I found the 990 limits, the bike doesn't have limits, it's all about tyres - loosing grip at 200+ and recovering is fucking scary but awesome. Anyway, needed that burn, equilibrium at home and all is well. Just a bit of a rant.

Gaan grou eerder 'n diep gat in jou agterwerf, dan gooi jy hom weer toe.  So 'n gejaery gaan jou seermaak.  En nog erger, jou fiets verniel.

Everybody does at one or the other time. You at least did so out towards Wellington on open roads, not lane-splitting.

Maybe the single dad also needs a 20 year old girlfriend?

230 on the 990 = 209 on the GPS.

I normally open my throttle more when I'm in a super good mood, but also try and consider how 'sharp' I feel - some days I feel like holding back a bit - guess it has something to do with 'survival of the fittest' - take care!

No Blikkies, I for one can never judge you, too many flat-out runs too often, on all sort of machines by me.

This is why I ride bikes, just one singular reason, performance, and while I am totally slow these days, I have had my fun all over.

One of the reasons I sold the 1200... Too easy to do those speeds in the wrong state of mind.
Present bikes: BETA 300RR, KTM 690, Yamaha WR250F

If you're dumb you gotta be tough !!!

Precisely why I have said goodbye to superbikes.

Slow and lazy 701 already too fast.

I'm keeping the XT. Too slow to crash.

But......I will never get mugged at the roadside because my bike broke.
