Apparently This guy was racing his budy ,on a publick dirt road when coming over a blid rise there is a toyota bakkie in the road. Bakkie 1 - crf450 0 ,the guy is in hospital with broken pelvis and what else. And I suspect the hospital is just the beginning of his shit  (LEGAL) . :o
  O yes before I forget for sale 2007 crf 450 excelent condition old lady rider never been raced used on sundays only to go to church  bargain at R 35 000  :pot:

This goes for people on kwats on public roads too. Guy I knew wiped out  :( :( on his Raptor about 2 weekends ago when he had a head-on with a bakkie on a public road. Came out behind a bus to overtake and ja, the rest is history.He was 24. A potentially good life wasted due to stupidity

Not really sure if it has anything to do with dirt bikes and public roads.

More about what you do with ANY bike on ANY road.  :P The lesson is there to be learnt. The poor bike, and poor guy!

It has to do with UNLICENSED bikes and kwats imho... anyone found riding one on a public road should spend a night in jail and have his ride confiscated, same goes for any other unlicensed wheels. It is all about this attitude of many that it is ok to break laws.

That bike is perhaps not road worthy, but I know a lot of guys that go on rides on road worthy bikes and race just like that, on public dirt roads. There's enough stories on this board alone of people doing well in excess of 120 on such roads, so I don't think it's the bike, it's the attidude of the biker. Jeez people, be careful out there.

Agreed, but they are fully licensed and as such can obtain reasonable insurance cover for such incidents, this oke has no leg to stand on when it comes to claims... the bakkie owner can take everything if he has a good lawyer.
His medical insurance would probably also not pay out because he was injured while in the course of an illegal activity.
I feel sorry for him, even I have had such life lessons...
