Somewhere a controller is not transmitting data correctly or is failing.. A bus will go to a "bus off" state if a specific controller in the network generates to many errors ..
From what I've read a bus off error is normally proceeded by other errors, is there any other errors? has something happened recently?
Also try searching for "CD845F CAN, node A, Fahrzeug-CAN, BusOff fault" (Fahrzeug = German for Vehicle)

Good Luck
Quinten,
After I ran the diagnostics again, I got this. your process would suggest that the gear selector sensor and shift level sensors are not talking to the controller.
