Mobile Speed Cameras: Beware!
« on: May 12, 2020, 12:04:08 pm »
On Monday morning I have seen the 1st mobile speed cameras since the start of lock down
They have been trapping at the City Deep off ramp on the M2 in both directions every day since and I suspect they are making a killing as the average speed motorists are traveling in that area are between 100 and 120Kph.

I suspect they will now be out in force to try and make up for lost revenue. Almost everybody is speeding due to the current light traffic on the highways.

There is one on the R21 north just after the DHL building by the Benoni offramp. I see it every day and that one brings in alot of money for the traffic dept

Amazing, they have been trapping cars there since 1982....

What are you all drivelling on about. When is the last time anyone in South Africa actually paid a traffic ticket? I know I left the country with a whole folder full of them.
The dog that caught the car. What now?

Just for shits and gigs, go and put your ID number in the SABC TV licence lookup  :imaposer:  Mine is still climbing after I paid in full before leaving and advising them that my TV was donated to my Garden Consultant.
