Sub 160km/h pay the fine, if over - get pulled over, walk a few meters and have a kak whether you need it or not, gross but I pretended to do it once over Sir Lowries when I  was caught at something like 225km/h on my BILs BMW superbike, he was following me on my 990 and paid a big fine, I was riding with an expired license at the time, the cop didn't bother checking it mid crouch - maak klaar en beweeg Meneer:)

That was quick thinking man! Must remember that one - could come in handy sometime!

Mechanic was clocked at 247km/h on a customer's Ducati . Then they casually followed him home and arrested him when he stopped at home.

Ducati agent?

Not too many places in CT that service Duc's.

Eurobike ?
Doesnít make sense , the M3 is on their doorstep , why go all the way to the N1.
I do however recall that there was a Ducati workshop in Maitkand .

It was the only one that I can think of that works from home, and works on Ducati's. The other one, Bike Doctor, would never ever have a client's bike out - he's paraat with a capital P.

I don't know Stretch at all.

I have known him for a long time , somehow I donít imagine him doing that , having said that I could be wrong , then again not my problem , what I do know is that anyone who wants to test their bike at that speed can do it themselves , I refuse to do so

As GJ can attest, I have successfully ran from cops many, many times on the roads. :thumleft:

The big problem with people getting caught, is panic.  The fleeing suspect >:D seem to freeze up out of fear, or simply give up.

Even on the N1, it is highly unlikely that one would be caught on anything fairly fast, as there are so many escape routes, even through the "middelmannetjie", which is open all over.

Please show us the GoPro footage of your ultra high speed middelmannetjie crossing.

What is GoPro?

I am not one of those guys that speed, then post an incriminating video of myself on social media. :imaposer:

I used to tease Stellenbosch traffic, until there sometimes were around 4-5 cars all over the place.  Suzuki RM465, Yam YZ490's, etc.  When it becomes super heated, I just duck into Coetzenberg, across the mountain and back home via Blaauklippen. :ricky:

These were my "TV games" years ago.

Fanie did you ever have a run in with officer Malgas , he fined me in 2000 when I was testing the SP1 , a whole R500 for wheelying , except that it wasnít me , he saw a black/red bike , never hot the registration number either , and presumed it had to be me , I went in to S/Bosch court , spoke to the prosecutor and had it squashed .
Found out a few months later that they had so many complaints about him that he was given a desk job 😁
