KTM Nelspruit have replaced all four my flicker light units in 2019, due to them getting moisture in, when washing the bike. Today, I noticed moisture in the right front unit again.
They are sealed units, and I find it very stange and disappointing, an Adventure bike branded KTM, have such weak quality.
It is my first KTM, and I have had Yamahas all my life, Enduro 175, IT 200, 465, 2 x Xt 500's RD 350, Banshee 350, and XT 1200 Z and ZE, never had any such elementary issues, I must say the 1200's were rock solid, between the 2, 60 000 km only replaced a light bulb.
I bought the 1290 SAR new in 2018, day 2, the TFT screen went on the brink. Subsequently replaced by KTM. Now the flickerlight issue, I am now starting to wonder about KTM quality. It is an awesome bike powerwise and great suspension, but the ergonomics quality are concering.
Anyone had issues like I have experienced?
