Hi Guys

I have not yet even introduced myself, apologies.

I'm keen to get back into the adventure/gravel bike thing again after many years, I have 2 sons (16 and 20) who are VERY keen on offroading, and I'd like to join them over weekends, just following them , example if they ride from Bethlehem to Clarens on gravel (we are in Bethlehem).
We also attend the Roof every year as spectators, I have done so for maybe 20 years now.
My previous bikes included some offroads, and dual purpose bikes were a 80GS, 100GS PD, Suzuki DR 750, Yamaha TT600, KLR 600, XT 500, XT 600, Tenere 660, and I guess one or 2 others.
OK - Back to the Topic
I can get a VERY VERY nice looking 1986 600 Tenere at a great Price.
Bike is done up and looks immaculate.
I love those old Tenere's,
Yes I know its kick start, but I'm still a VERY young 53 years old.

1) What to look out for on these babies??
2) Engine and Chassis number starts with a "39E"........anything to be glad or sad about here?
3) Mileage is a "soft" 63000............what to be concerned about at that miles?
4) Anything else that I need to know??

THANKS O0...........Pic of bike attached
