Unfortunately, 3 weeks ago the water meter reader guy nearly killed her as she had made a nest in his water meter box ... I drove by just as he started beating on her with a PVC pipe ... lets just say he has seen the light since then and will let my fcuking snakes live in peace going forward. Its been a while now but she looks a little better today.

Poor thing :'(

Is the meter reader guy looking better too? >:D

Thank you for the glimpse of this spectacular place that I would never see otherwise.
Really beautifull.  What is the sea temp there ?

Hi subie. We are transiting from Winter (the dryish tourist season) to Summer (the employees and mosquito rainy season) so the water temp goes up from 21-25 to 28-32C. This because the wind swings from NE to SE. Climate change you ask?? Absolutely, the high tides are higher and the lows are lower.

That is seriously beautiful.I am jealous for sure.Is that St Francis bay or somewhere or have I missed the point. That Yammie looks unused.Amazing how a person always wnat to kill a snake at 1st sighting without realizing how beneficial they actually are.

thks.

Hi BLK. Not quite as nice as St Francis but New Providence Island in the Bahamas. The Yam was an eBay special at $2500, she came from Chicago with 16500miles on the clock in 2010. Now on 36k miles or about 51k kms. Most locals have no contact with wildlife and its not a Natural Science subject in school so the killit side kicks in. Its an unmitigated disaster here and the Boa’s are endangered because of it.

Wow, thanks for showing us your hot 19 year old >:D as well as that beautiful place that you call home.  It looks so peacfull, where everybody?   :peepwall:

Our Corovid 19 stats here are 101 cases and 11 deaths. The Govt. reaction is way over the top. Curfew at nights from 9pm to 5am and total homebound curfew from 9pm Friday to 5am Monday morning. Perfect time to go for a ride as no one about.

My BIL is ferrying a yacht from St.Thomas down south to some island where it will be put on dry dock for the owners.
He has to stay 2 weeks on the yacht before flying home.
Weird how some places have these strict rules. St.Thomas had very lenient rules and people were asked to go outside as much as possible and neither did any wear masks outside only inside businesses. It is a fact that 97% of infections took place inside so it makes sense to be outside. St.Thomas is opening for tourism again.

So... either the island has a super high death rate of over 10%, or there is a much higher infection rate that the government are totally unaware of.

I know my starboard from my port, aft from fo'ard and barnacle from binnacle. Het jy vir my werk daar?  :lol8:

Looks very nice Ian.  I say that with the knowledge that being somewhere on holiday and being somewhere for work are light years apart.  Still a very pretty place.

Plus, you can swim in June

Plus of course, the 19 year old.

Quite correct Ri, the worldwide average seems to indicate a 5 to 8% ration, that would indicate our testing numbers to be too optimistic.

Quite correct Dors, it's a 24/7 job. It is certainly not Marguerites on the beach every day, the reality is quite different I can assure you. Today and Friday are holidays here but I am at work.
