I bought a DC power supply with variable voltage and current regulation for battery charging as well as for other purposes. If you know the limitations for charging different Amp/ Hr rated lead acid and other technology batteries then this works great.
No matter what you use to charge a battery be careful that you do not exceed the voltage and current limitations of a specific Amp/ Hr battery. There is a reason why  manufacturers make different capacity chargers for different size batteries.
