Okay after loud mouthing that my KLR does not use a drop of oil this happens let that be a lesson
I have a red 2005 KLR and my trusty steed has developed a bit of a problem (I think at least). It started on Friday, about to leave for the Swazi rally, and that is on startup it bellowed smoke out the pipe, only for about 10 seconds and then seemed to go away this also happened on Saturday (but not as bad) and then Sunday nothing. Until yesterday afternoon when it puffed out a few clouds but only about 1 - 2 seconds worth?
Any advice as to what it could be it only happens on a cold start and does not smoke during riding.
