Absolutely! More weight and less low-down torque. And low-end torque is exactly why I love smaller, light singles.
Now you have a twin with less low-down torque, yet ti still cannot cruise nowhere near as well as a big bike.
Lose-lose.
Exactly. Take the Honda CB500X as an example. A 690 will run circles around it power wise. The latest 690 will run with (probably outrun) a 800GS everywhere except top end and it's actually quite a fair bit smoother.
But you never know, maybe they pull another belter out, maybe another one for the indian market. We'll have to wait and see.
