Guy nearly gets his bike ripped
« on: July 11, 2020, 07:47:14 am »
Attempted hijack of BMW.

Damn this was close.  :eek7:

You can actually hear the one thief let off a shot at him or in his direction. Hope he was not hit. It looks like somewhere in Brazil.

I'd like to see that slowed down a bit to make out more clearly how it happened.

Don't think I'd have reacted as successfully as the rider, but maybe he was already aware of the crooks behind him.

My fook.   :eek7:

I think he knew what was coming.  He slowed down whilst overtaking another vehicle and drastically slowed down once passed.  That's also why the attempted robbers flew past him.  He kept his calm until he raced away, forgot to change gears.   :lol8:

It is a fairly common practise in some places in S. America, this bike-jackings. I believe that is why he knew immediately what it was.

In places like Brazil this is not a bike jacking but a hit.. Gangs taking out businessmen because bribes are not paid all the way to taking out competition.

If that was a hit, he would have been dead. No, he was waving the guy off to take the bike.

True that, although to be fair they did'nt seem very competent at getting a guy to stop a bike either. :laughing4:
