Hierdie Norden 901 is uitspattig mooi.  Hy sal beslis op die kortlys kom.

I have been keeping tabs on this bike since it was first revealed as a concept, and I'm pretty sure I will end up with one. There is only one question I have uppermost in my mind, and maybe the WD's can help. What is Husky backup like in SA (specifically KZN) compared to KTM? There was a previous thread about being able to maintain you car at an 'accredited but non factory' dealership while still maintaining the warranty, will the same hold true for this - can I take the Norden to my trusty KTM dealer for service/warranty?
Also apology for a previous post, I should have said that release will be MY2022, in other words late 2021 (in Europe, not necessarily SA).

Can’t take Husky to KTM for warranty services and repairs. Problem for me as closest Husky dealer is 3 hour drive....

BUT I’ll deal with the compromise for this bike

I'm under the impression Perry Bikes are the KZN agents. They are based in Glen Anil, Durbs.

I mix more with the 'plastics' than the 'adventure' crowd, and I have heard rumblings, which has led to my concern. It might be unfounded, but I have a long relationship with Alf and was hoping to go that route with the Husky. Will definitely make me think carefully, particularly when the 790 'S' comes with the upgraded suspension. Just have to get my head around the styling.

sounds like the 890 adventure is imminent, may that be why release of the Norden is also now sooner than what was first thought?

I’ve been doing business with Perry Motorcycles since the mid 90s. Always had good service from them. Zane Davidson runs the workshop, one of the top mechanics in KZN in my opinion.
