Durban to Dublin 2013

WATCH THIS SPACE FOR MORE INFO AND DETAILS AS THE PLANNING HAPPENS...

So far we have 4 commited riders... and a couple maybe's...

The plan is like this...

We will start at the most Western Point of South Africa (Alexander Bay) and travel south to Cape Town and then on to the southern tip of Africa (Cape Augulhas) - We will then follow the coastline all the way through the Eastern Cape and up to South Africa's most Eastern Point (Kosi Bay) - via Durban. From there we will travel north through Natal and past Johannesburg and eventually leave South Africa at the most Northern Point of the country - into Botswana. Other scooter riders will be welcome to join us and ride along at any point in South Africa...

Once we have left South Africa, we will travel North, through Botswana and then enter Zambia at Victoria falls. From there its off to Malawi and spend some time at the lake. The we will continue through Tanzania, Kenya, etc - Into the Sudan - ferry a short distance on the Nile, etc.

From the coast in Egypt, we will ship the scooters to Turkey and then continue on through Europe and on to London and the UK... then finish in Dublin before retuning to the UK where we will meet the mailship, the RMS St Helena in Cardiff - The scooters will be shipped home from there (With us) - via Ascension and St Helena Islands...

The trip begins Feb 2013 and will be around 8-9 months long. It is going to be a leasurly ride with long stop overs and lots of sight seeing and adventures along the way...

Interested parties should start thinking seriously and speak up ASAP.  The trip will be rough and tough and no softy's will be tolerated - we will be camping 90% of the time and there will be no quiche and cappuccino...

The last big trip was only 55 days and took 2 years to plan - so 4 years is not that far off...

This trip will be massive and life changing - It's going to be "Legendary"...
