Africa Twin 850 Concept

Some are calling it the new Transalp....The rumours have been around for some time and as usual the factory is not very good at keeping secrets - they probably leak on purpose to create an expectation.  Whatever the reason they'll probably be quicker than Yamaha in getting product to market.....looks good - certainly be an attractive option.....

The first pic looks like prototype, and the second looks more like production.

Which is a pity, because the first one looks more 'right'.

Yup, have to agree.  The second picture has been around for a while - the first picture I only saw on Instagram today with the caption 'Africa Twin 850' but I'm not convinced - just the lettering on the picture looks wrong.  Anyways, I figure where there's smoke there's probably a fire somewhere....
