Looking for advice. I just did valve shim job and I am unsure about something and would like to ask while I wait for the new gasket to come in.
I placed the shims in and the 2 cams line up as should, but after I installed the t-bone plastic and the cam top carrier and torqued everything to 10nm and then tightened the cam tensioner down. After this when I turn the motor by hand there is a slop spot(this is between the cams) in the chain but the rest of the chain is tight, is this normal? would the chain tensioner take up this slop on start up or did the chain jump a tooth somewhere and slops on a certain spot?
Any advice would be nice, don't want to put everything together if I need to readjust the chain.
