David Attenborough Replacement?
« on: September 15, 2020, 10:20:01 pm »
I'm rather partial to nature shows and Davey is the undisputed nature narrator, the legend will unfortunately pass in the next few years, who do you think will be worthy of the mantle? There is Kingsley but he's also a ballie, don't think the world could handle a SA accent but I kinda like the idea of Dereck Watts taking the throne as he's a keen nature lover and very well spoken when he's candid and not spewing Carte Blanche drivel.

Disney nature has a doccie on bears narrated by John C Reilly. He's decent, not close to DA, but then again, who is?

Renaulph Fiennes is also too old unfortunately, I like Morgan but he has also clocked 80, a 55yr old that we can 'grow' with will be where it's at, pitty Erwin has passed, his laaitie is quite impressive but way too young.

Wow, I knew he was old, but while trying to find articles to answer the question, I found he's 94 years old. What an innings!

It seems Chris Packham has been earmarked as replacement on the narrating front though.
