Picketberg Mountain 4 x 4 route




Hit a bakkie after crossing the Berg River  , some where in the bush
Broke Rh ribs , RH foot bones x 2 and badly bruised ribs in my back , and bruised lower back,
By far the most pain I have ever had and trying to get in and out of bed was Hecktick !!!

Die skade aan die bike was R59.00 vir 'n nuwe indicator lens. Ek het gelukkig nie meer kraakbeen oor in my kniee om te beskadig nie

Luckily I was wearing all the gear, this is why everyone needs to wear a neck-brace. Happened on Bergrivier Blvd in Paarl, driver of the car had no license, no insurance, for my first serious 'off' it was a pretty big one.

Ok, I'll play. I have a ton of them. Two of the more recent ones;

Riding along the Westcoast roads fence, a newly laid fibre cables access hole was not compacted enough. That was pretty scary, I thought the bike was going to trap me in that hole.





Taking on one hill too steep with not enough run-up in Atlantis. I tried it 3 times with the similar results before I gave up;
