I got kak lucky to understate it!
apparently I got a tank slap and hit the tar at 140 (I still think that's bullshit, but hey) the cock up was the helmet was new to me, never had one with a double D type strap and it wasn't on properly. Hit the ground helmet came off, fractured eye socket with a mean ass concussion and allot of skin gone.
In retro sect it has calmed me down allot in some ways and just overall has made me be less of a stupid twat on the road, as well as the bike related changes there have been way more positive sides to the whole thing than negative.
I stopped biting my nails for the first time in my life and my hey fever is better than it has ever been, to the point where its almost gone..... strange how things work lol

All in all im glad it happened the way it did, I needed to catch a wake up call and I got lucky enough to live through it with only a minor scan on my nose and under my eyebrow
