Tiger 900 Rally Pro
« on: September 27, 2020, 01:39:23 pm »
Leaving in a day or two for a trip through Central and South America on this new Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro.

I will be stringing together a series of clean water projects with local volunteers in each country.  I’ve been working with this group, Motorrad Angels, for three years so it’s not new to me.

I already have about 4500 miles on the bike.  I took it to Montana a month ago then to a rally a few weeks ago.  Everything seem to be working well on it so far.

Days 1 and 2 were long but here in Chihuahua now with some great BMW riders who have their own clubhouse!

Clubhouse is basically a huge garage

The bike is doing well.  I lost a circlip on the left passenger peg but worked a temp fix.  Really should be a kotter pin.

Motoz holding up even with 3500 miles

150 miles of dirt yesterday in 9 hours and that’s without stopping.  Really hot too.

Finished with some pollo asado and beers. 100 degrees F 38 C

Vídeo up this morning

https://youtu.be/FQGcp6SpFus

Had lunch with a great guy in Los Mochis today, Ariel Gamez.  He bought my lunch and then hooked me up with a house all to myself in Mazatlan!  So I rode about 240 miles and got here at nearly 9:00 pm.  Really tired now

Last few weeks have been mostly relaxed sightseeing and some fun riding.

Went to Durango, Zacatecas, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende and now Queretaro.

While in Guanajuato I rode south to Morelia and rode with a club there on the Mil Cumbres road which is also where the famous Carrera Panamericana is held.
