I went to work on the bike. Normal non eventfull N1 to Paarl.
THEN I had to check on the constrution site at the Wellington solid waste disposal site. I also had to check in with the plant manager at the Paarl Waste Water Treatment works. THERE IS A SERVICE ROAD ALONG THE PIPE LINE LINKING PAARL AND WELLINGTON WWTW.
I needed a bit of a bush ride to get some frustratrions out of my system.
I left the tar at the Paarl WWTW, took the scenic route down to the Berg River. Worked my way along the river all the way to the Wellington maturation dams. Took the track following the river all the way to the Wellington WWTW outlet canal. From there, up to the Wellington Landfill site, with a quick detour over the capped old Wellington Landfill site.
On my way back I stopped along the river and just enjoyed the wonderfull day for a momment. Took a pic with the phone. Then followed the foot path back to the railway line and back to the office.
Sometimes, life is just soooo good!
