A really heart wrenching story of love and tragedy. Rest in peace Zander. So sorry for your loss Jaco and family. Always remember the good times.

I followed young Zander's recovery on FaceBook.

There are no words to comfort his parents during this time.

I will say It was inspiring to see him smile in the face of such adversity.  His FB message of living life to the max everyday is inspirational to us all.

Godspeed Zander.  May your smile reside in our souls forever.
If violent crime is to be curbed, it is only the intended victim who can do it.  The felon does not fear the police, judge, nor jury.  The felon must be taught to fear his victim.

I have missed a few weeks on WD but remember that he was looking like recovering; now to see this is really devastating and must be absolutely tragic for his family and friends. My heartfelt condolences and thoughts with you. Very, very tough.
