  • Stop. Take a moment......
Mate of mine worked behind the scenes (logistics and medical) for the launch in SA. Himself a avid KTM rider. The issues were evident even then. Taken as niggles at the time but clearly now a different story.... Sad though. Looked like a good all round bike.

They should downgrade the software from Windoze 10 to Windoze 7 Home Pro. Upgrade the RAM and install an SSD.

Other than that I've got nothing.

I also value a product that works.......reliably.  I work too hard for my money, well, not really, to throw it away on junk.

You can cover for, and hide a shit product only that long, and I have been saying that comparing prices between the 790 and T7 is just stupid, as with the T7 you get a really sorted and ultra reliable bike,

with quality components.

With the new KTM, not only the 790, you get a cheaply assembled bucket of Indian and Chinese lucky packet stuff.

Noneking makes no secret that he is super-happy with his bike, and indeed enjoys it a lot. Yet, even he has had serious problems on a new machine, well cared for.

Imagine what problems the unhappy okes must have.......... :eek7:

And its a pity. I'm not a ktm fan at all, but  I liked the 790, what it represented.

The practically of it. Wish BMW would go that way with just one bike.

great idea but you know without all the factory bits trying to kill every five seconds. typical fooken gingas, u just cant trust em
