there are indeed a few around, I dont think they were grey market...overseas, USA especially, as well as UK, they are very, very popular as twin cylinder 500 cc 'Adventure Bikes' once they have been modified...
now, before everyone get's their knickers in a knot, I am NOT debating on how good an adventure bike it is (or is not!) JUST that they are highly sought-after for modding into 'light duty' adventure bikes...

Yes, I waited 4 - 5 full weeks before posting on the T7, basically got fed up with all the speculation, with no one giving accurate info...
since I had heard direct from a Yamaha Dealer, I posted...  ;)
Dealer and Head Office then disagreed a little on the wording; I am with the Dealer on that one...
the end.

OK, who has a CB 500 X for me  ?

Cheers
Chris

seems like there is one in WORCESTER... (pic is NOT the Worcester bike...)

Had its clutch plates replaced YESTERDAY, but shop owner (Epping) did not take down customers details...

So if anyone in WORCESTER or surrounds knows of a CB 500X, would love to hear about it...!

(yes, bike(s) were brought in parallel/Grey Market, before Honda SA put a stop to it, so I hear...)

Cheers
Chris

The CB 500 is quite a common choice here and their owners seem very happy with them. Won't keep the KTM ride it till the clutch burns out crowd happy but definitely has it's place. If your lowering pegs look like this (below) I can tell you that they do the job of stopping an old man's knee from aching so much when it is bent and they don't seem to get tangled up with tarmac or bush but the two things I don't like are that I tend to find pegs by sliding my boot down the frame and often pick up the larger lip on top and also because they are slightly further out I don't seem to have the same contact with the bike and gear shifts are often not so clean.
