Knife repair
« on: October 28, 2020, 09:44:30 am »
Morninf Dogs,
One of my old favourite knives broke yesterday. I dropped it on the handle and it snapped through what appeas to be a weak spot caused by rust. Anybody know anybody in Cape Town who could attempt a repair?
Cheers.

I could probably repair that, but I'm tucked away in Agulhas. The cost of getting the knife here and back would make the exercise not worth the expense.

Thanks and you make a good point. I suppose I am going to end up buying a replacement but was hoping to find an enthusiast who would take it on as a project. I may keep the pieces just in case I get to taking a ride down our way and check with you if I could drop it off.

Thanks again and safe riding.
