Looking for interesting routes around Magalies, or otherwise out to Val

I know the basic dirt farm road route out to Val, and it's nice and Scenic, but Im looking for something a little more interesting to take a group of guys on. Don't wanna just sit at high speed all the way there.  Are there any more interesting bits out that side?

Also looking for similar by Magalies?  Apparently you can get onto some railway roads there?
