This bike is such an easy bike to ride!

Shit also quite the list of extras fitted. Your bike looks super! Reason for the tubeless wheels? reason for asking i have always had the put a tube in my tubeless wheels after  getting a sidewall cut. tyres usually 2,1 in front. Rough cost of the alpina rims if you dont mind?

I bought my new 2019 Adventure Sport in February 2020 after my GS was stolen.  Thanks to Covid it hasn't seen much dirt but there are good plans for December...just clocked through 6,000km.....This bike is magnificent - and as for the soundtrack

Kyk ne hierdie is vir my een van die mooiste kleure in die AT reeks. Dis n baie mooi fiets. Self nou van my 1190 ADV r af  op die twin. Moet self nog bietjie gaan grondpad ry. hopelik die naweek!!!

Jy kan dit weer se Boerbok! Ek het my les geleer daardie naweek, ek sal nooit weer in sulke modder ry nie.

Africa Twin glad nie ontwerp daarvoor nie, my voorband het gesluit as gevolg van die opbou van modder en klei tusen die band en die modderskerm, en die enigste manier hoe ek daar kon uit was om die modderskerm af te haal.

So leer n man wat jy nog kan verander op die fiets!! Raising kit is dan n moet. Ons ry baie in die winter en kom op sulke paaie af. Groot sports gewoonlik.

The main reason for the tubeless wheels is to not battle with puncture repairs next to the road. It is just so much easier and quicker to fix a puncture with a plug, than the shcleb to remove a wheel, get the tube out, patch it etc etc. So far I never had a puncture which could not be repaired with a couple of figure 8 plugs.

At the time the twho rims was around R 35 000.00.

Ja its my retirement bike and i am only 37 lol
I do long trips in my Pajero but i still love my bike.

Eina... I guess it all depend on how you ride too. Tube less works great with repairing the tyres with plugs. Down side is you cant run much deflated pressures below 2 bar if you are riding hard. You'll have a square rim shortly after. I'll see how it goes with the tubes before one take the plunge into tubeless again.

You seem Pretty sorted with the extras. Consider the rapid bike module. It makes a huge difference to bike performance. Also considering the camel screen brace but seems easy enough tp try and faricated something. No one in SA has stock currently. I have my gps on the sreen crossbar although light but also have a touring screen that put some pressure on the screen bracket when riding fast. Would get it more for that reason than for the gps mount. Im a tall guy so on the highest setting for me. To cramped on the low setting. Gps is a worthy upgrade. Some guys use their phone rather than the gps. I prefer the gps with tracks for africa.

Thanks for the pictures. It sure looks good and cover the parts it has to. Im using the garming zumo 396 ltm. Awesome little gps. It has all the features his big brother has except tyre pressure monitoring.

Rapid bike module cost in the region of 9k. The Dealer ask you where you live and they install a premap for your bike for your region. after that the module automatically adjust air fuel ratio as you ride to to optimum secs. IT does the same as a power commander with a auto tune. Only thing is you need dyno time with the power commander were with the rapid bike it adjust itself and you  just get the cable to plug bike into laptop and accept the map the module has adjusted to. You only do this a couple of times until you dont see any difference from stock to modified map.  It will keep on adjusting air fuel ratio as you ride and go higher above sealever and adjust if you go closr to sea level again.
