I did plenty of gravel on the weekend. Cant say its rough gravel but the velcro sticks!!!  I used to stick Gopro cameras to model airplanes with that velcro. I have a lot of faith in the velcro. Just a tip. For extra security use a couple of drops of superglue to stick the velcro to the bike and the pressure gauge.  That way you will be sure it doesn't fall off. Thats what i did.

I removed all the extra velcro and used a tiny bit of superglue to glue the velcro to the bike and the gauge.
Still looks a little amateur. Black Velcro will look better but i don't have any so the blue will have to do.
