Rewind stator GS800 Durban area
« on: November 12, 2020, 11:40:18 am »
Howzit guys. Mate of mine has had one phase of his stator go on his GS800. Apparently a common problem? Does anyone know who rewinds them in the Durban area? (I guess MUCH cheaper than getting the original BMW part). Or are there aftermarket/pirate ones to be had? Or even does anyone have an old good one they want to get rid of - he is on a tight budget so cheapest but still reliable is first prize.
Thanks in advance, Pete

Thanks Bappas, do you perhaps have a link for where you got yours from? Was it overseas or local?
