If you had to buy again, would you buy the Rally or the standard one?  Personally, I'd buy the Rally again. It's plenty dirt capable enough for it's intended purpose and then you don't have to mess about with fitting larger tanks and fairing.

I would have liked to see the new LED from the CRF450 integrated into this little Rally. Save a bit of weight and get rid of the lop sided look. Are there hopup (big bore) kits for these 300's?

The Rally is good looking but this time I will go L. Less to worry about and bit lighter

Thanks, do you know of an equivalent for the 300? With the longer stroke engine on the 300, the BB should take it to probably about 322cc and most likely make a huge improvement on performance.

That will bring it a bit closer to the DRZ 400 so many of us wanted

DRZ still has two major advantages over the CRF, weight and better suspension. The DRZ has crappy gearing for road use and looks dated by now.

Just wait, local pricing has proven to differ either drastically, a lot or a staggering lot from anything sold outside our country

I personally like the L better but will probably buy the Rally because of extra fuel capacity and add a 5L Desert Fox. Will need to find pannier racks for soft panniers and to fit a tool tube which I normally do on the inside of the racks.
