Just want to throw it out here, got a kit (2 'shroud'-tanks, all hardware etc) for a 701 for those who want to convert their existing Husky to an LR.
All new (still in packaging) Italian stuff, not too cheap but I'm haggleable.
Won't use it for the purpose (Doodsakker) I bought it for.
Sparta MC50, 46 other 50cc's, Garelli Tiger Cross, Jawa 250, Kreidler RS (plated), Kawasaki S1 250/3, S2 350/3, H1 500/3, H2 750/3, Suzuki GT380/3 - 10 year gap - KDX200, BMW 1150GS Adventure, Honda CBR600RR, Honda XR650R 2007 & 2003, Honda CRF230, Yamaha BWS100, BMW F800GS Adventure, Husqvarna 701 Enduro 2018, KTM 790 Adv R 2019, KTM 2020 XC-W TPI 300 Six Days, KTM 2014 500 EXC-W Six Days, KTM 790 Adv R Rally 2020, KTM 890 Adv R Rally 2021

What is the extra capacity added by these tanks?

When do you plan on doing Doodsakker?

Danie,

6L each i.e 12L total.
Look here, this is the manufacturer: https://specialthings.it/products/husqvarna-701-rally-replica
Note that I do not have the Rally kit/tower - only the two tanks (translucent white with yellow edge-trim) with all the goodies (taps, connectors, hoses etc) plus the SeatConcept seat that goes with it (it does not have the wings).

As to "when", we have a common friend named Dave, a bit of a beserker which I will go see early January  ;D
How about a braai then (his pozzie or yours. for I reckon the beach will be out....) so we can meet & eat, plus chat about a date - which is still open but 'towards the end of 2021' looks to be the final date now (as the previous 2 years, this &^%$# year included, have been cancelled).
I also will tell you then that if you'll join us you'll not need any extra tanks - how's that for my marketing skills eh?  :lol8:

We'll discuss this trip to great length around that braai fire. :thumleft: :thumleft:
