From Saturday 19 December @ 6pm – Sunday 20 December @ 6pm, Bushy Mckelvey will once again race against the clock for charity to reclaim his Guinness World Record in Wartburg, KZN!

This remarkable bilateral amputee and Covid-19 survivor lapped Phakisa's Oval an astonishing 901 times recently, and he aims to fulfil his dream on home turf before year-end!

With a new BMW #S1000XR under him and solid support behind this official attempt, Bushy is completely confident he'll beat the current record of 3406,17 km in 24 hours on a good, straight road!

The straight is about 13 km long, the aim is to do 3500 km in 24 hours, so he will have to traverse it 269 times. With turning time, fuel stops etc, calculated in, he will have to travel at about 220 to 230 km/h down that straight. He still needs some marshals to man farm entrances and side roads to stop traffic into the road. If anyone is interested to help for 24 hours, you can pm me for his number. All roads will be blocked, once the marshalls are placed, there is no getting out and in for 24 hrs. One have to supply everything you would need during that period.
