Welshy, please stop. If every person on this planet evaluates themselves, they will all fall short of you. You are the best and I tried to understand what everybody was talking about, seeing that I met you and you look like everybody else.

So, from now on, when I see you or anybody else of Wilddog's knocking Welsh, I will make a statement.

Hey Zonk,
Your on a mission today, being nice to me and Shark!

Your Kaoko trip was an inspiration to us all.

Don,t concern yourself, the rest of the forum are well behaved, they only pick up when I take the piss out of myself. I just need to get down from this 130kg level where I am now, just because I might enjoy my riding EVEN more!

Looks like a fun day out ! Still want to know where the quarry is ? I'd like a go at that sand as well. Shark how is that 606's holding up ?

Must admit, I doubt if I could find it again, the route we took to get there.

I was going to say it would not be challenging for the DRZ, but no I would be wrong, there are spots there which you could make a challenge on a Trials Bike.

Like many things in life, if you want to make them difficult you can.

Anyway glad you only said I looked like the rest, and did not say I am NORMAL. Dog, I never want to labelled as one of those grey men with 2.4 kids.
I always want to be rememberred as Douglas Adams said I fink, "slightly shimmers" when seen under certain types of UV lighting.

Maybe I should have got a Harley, but it would have been like Cal Rayburn rode, an XR750RR flat tracker, still love them, win the lottery take it out on a Harley run and fark them all off.

The quarry is between Bapsfontein, Boschkop (both about 10km away)

Its also nearly on the border with Mpumalanga (4km)

Nearest major intersection is M30 (Garstfontein road) and R25 at 7.7km away.

Here is the entrance.

S25 58.809 E28 32.633

Exactly 90 degrees or directly East of my house in Midrand, 43.8km.
